Who We Are

Experience A Culture That Is Truly Unequaled

What is it like to work at Cerner?

Our associates are driven by their own personal stories to make health care better. Through our experiences and those we’ve shared with our families and friends, we’re committed to work that makes an impact. We work at a fast pace because we believe in bringing tomorrow to life today. We are eager to push the boundaries of our industry, and we encourage our associates to share their ideas, take initiative and be accountable for their work. Improving the health of communities isn’t easy, but it results in engaging, challenging work that presents opportunities to create answers to hard questions.

Your growth, development and success drive ours.

Families

Cerner respects the importance of a satisfying family life and the many ways it can enhance enjoyment of the professional experience. A fundamental component of our mission is to empower associates and their loved ones to achieve optimal levels of health and happiness.

We pursue this goal by:
  • Engaging family members in Cerner-sponsored fitness programs.
  • Offering an internal network with active family-specific groups.
  • Supporting “Take Your Child to Work” activities.
  • Providing adoption assistance and adoption leave.
In addition, Cerner sponsors the following family resources, opportunities and events in the Kansas City area:
  • On-site child care that includes a Montessori curriculum.
  • Free fitness center access for immediate family members of associates in Kansas City locations.
  • December event: Children’s Holiday Celebration.

Cerner has repeatedly received the “Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles” Platinum award (highest distinction) from the National Business Group on Health.
