Troubleshoot and analyze complex technical coding issues submitted by internal or external clients

Own, debug and document complex investigations and resolution

Apply complicated code and testing changes and fixes to resolve issues

Create complex diagnostic coding packages that may include front or back end components

Propose and lead process improvement projects

Leverage in-depth knowledge of solution architecture and data models to prevent or resolve issues

Perform root-cause analysis with clients to resolve high complexity issues

Share knowledge within team through mentorships, coaching, technical talks and blogs

Work during odd hours(shift based allocation)

This role is for an ONCALL / Ops Support team and hence to work in shift. Currently shift allocation is like 5 days of work consisting of shift of 9 hours (morning/evening/night) each day and 2 days off (these 2 days may fall any days of the week). The shift arrangement might be adjusted as per Oracle policy.

Even though it’s a production support role, the candidate has to have programming experience to actually analyse the bug in code and sometimes provide a fix there

Good communication skills and ability to present in large forums.
Ability to be agile and to be a complete team person.
Ability to coordinate process and communication with other teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work in odd hours / holidays based on pre-decided schedule

Technical Knowledge / Experience

Sound skill in Database (SQL) Programming – preferably in MS-SQL
In-depth knowledge on Data Warehouse/ETL and relevant hands-on working experience.
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence technology and framework including - SSAS, SSIS
Working experience in SAP Business Objects
Working experience in any Cloud Infrastructure
