Job Description

Cerner is growing and currently looking for a Senior Learning Partner. As a Senior Learning Partner, you will be managing onboarding plans which ensure job-ready employees who meet business needs. In this role, you would need to consult with organization and role-based community leaders to understand capability gaps impacting current and future business strategies. Customize / Add learning content to meet local business needs and deliver educational materials in person and virtually, using in-depth knowledge of the content area and facilitation best practices ( e.g. Training related to client support and customer delivery). Additionally, manage the administration of learning solutions to provide relevant, high-quality experiences for participants. Design and implement education strategies aligned with business imperatives. Also, evaluate and proactively improve measurement of learning solution effectiveness using best practice methodologies aligned with performance and business outcomes. Maintenance of materials and documentation related to the program/project. Planning and attending collaboration meetings to ensure projects are on schedule. You are also expected to manage tickets assigned for learning support and education requests and qualitative and quantitative data interpretation.

Working Environment

Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered

This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

    • At least 2 years of human resources work experience and/or other learning/adult education work experience, including instructional design, training facilitation, and/or learning consultation

    • At least 6 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, Health Care, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • 6 to 8 years of adult education experience (facilitation, stakeholder management )

  • 2 years of technical or professional experience, preferably using Cerner Millennium products or related software (if expected to facilitate Millennium training)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good hands-on experience in Program Management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of Data Analysis and Interpretation
• Strong personal leadership and Influencing skills
• Proficiency in Presentation and Facilitation skills
• Technical trainer
• Ability to successfully work under pressure and handle highly sensitive issues
• Able to work independently with stakeholders to drive desired outcomes
• Basic Knowledge of LMS (Learning Management System)
• Troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Adult Learning and Development models, frameworks, and tools
• Cerner Millennium Fundamentals/Solution Knowledge - Good to know

Expectations:

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work by corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
