As Oracle Health International we are tasked with aggressive, yet achievable, growth targets. We have an unprecedented opportunity to pursue new Go To Market strategies worldwide. Leveraging the interest and momentum surrounding Oracle Health post-acquisition, it is crucial that we act quickly to secure the services of a proven, business development and sales executive. This executive should be capable of orchestrating business development and sales activities in Europe and emerging markets. As our product roadmap hardens we need the dedicated efforts of a trusted and energetic leader to build on the pent-up demand and drive new business success across the globe. There is an upsurge in interest and we need to harness that, follow up and follow through. Today, we are stretched and lack the bandwidth to capture our moment.

Senior Director of Business Development and Sales (Europe & Emerging Markets)

An energetic and driven senior executive who will be chartered to increase revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities, developing business growth and supporting pursuit and sales activities across Europe and emerging markets worldwide. The Senior Director will be a key senior member of the International Sales organisation. They should demonstrate proven international market knowledge, ideally spanning multiple continents. They should have the ability to network, build trusted relationships, negotiate and demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Senior Director of Business Development and Sales Responsibilities:
  • Strong team player
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, Oracle colleagues and partners.
  • Develop Go to Market strategies with Oracle colleagues and partners.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable new business opportunities.
  • Build effective networks within targeted markets; working with Oracle colleagues, marketing, government affairs and partners to establish Oracle Health credentials.
  • Manage the timely entry of sales executives into new market opportunities and support them throughout the sales cycle.
  • Identify emerging trends and recommend new company offerings to satisfy customers’ needs.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
  • Prepare business cases for market and opportunity pursuit.

This position is open to European locations (ideally will be based in Nordics)

Working Environment

Hybrid & Onsite: Relocation Assistance Offered

This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 14 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Minimum 15 years of international business development and sales experience.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
    • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strong business acumen.
    • Detail-oriented and persuasive.
    • Multi-lingual – ideal, Nordic languages preferred
    • Cloud aware - ideal

      • Available to travel regularly
      • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
      • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position
