Integrated Technologies Consultant I (Gothenburg or Lund based)

Job Description

At Oracle Cerner, we are working at the intersection of health and technology. We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organisations worldwide. We are looking for a Consultant I to join an exciting project for an integrated digital healthcare environment, replacing many existing IT systems in hospitals and primary care facilities for a comprehensive solution. The new system includes a service to manage the health of more than 1 million citizens and a modern digital care system that allows for increased patient participation, safer patient experience, and an improved work environment for healthcare professionals.

As an Integrated Technologies Consultant I, you will partner with Oracle Cerner clients for integrated technology deployment of hardware, software, and services. Role responsibilities:
  • Build client relationships to achieve business objectives
  • Consult with clients and internal project teams on technical architecture decisions to deploy integrated hardware, software, and devices. This could include the integration of lab analyzers, anesthesia systems, patient monitoring, respiratory ventilators, and infusion pumps.
  • Support clients through regular project events, testing calls, status meetings, and conversion support.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting and deployment issue resolution, escalating as appropriate
  • Participate in team initiatives

Working Environment

Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered

This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare, Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field of study, or 4 years relevant, equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Cerner Millennium
  • Experience working with CareAware iBus
  • Experience working with Linux Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of HL7 standards or other device/system communication standards
  • Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
  • Experience or interests with medical devices such as anesthesia carts, physiological monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and/or laboratory analyzers
  • Understanding of basic networking principles
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including a high level of comfort interacting with clinical, IT, and biomedical equipment staff up to the mid-manager level
  • Ability to adapt to fast paced or changing environment

Expectations:
  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organisational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
