Senior Consultant

Job Description

The Oncology team is hiring a Senior Consultant. As a Senior Consultant, you will advise clients on workflows across service lines, and guide clients through interdependencies and design decision impacts. You will create strategic plans with clients to obtain value achievement across the service line, identify workflow and process improvements and make recommendations to client and project leadership. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and propose solution enhancements, workflow efficiencies and client relationship strategies, and engage in the sales process to assist with accurate quoting of contractual scope and hours and contribute to organizational initiatives.

Working Environment

Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered

This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
    • At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
    • High School Diploma
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
    Expectations
    • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
    • Willing to travel up to 100% as needed
    • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
    • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
