Research Operations Analyst I (B)

Job Description

  • Responsible for execution of research projects to the timing, budget and quality standards required and agreed with Research Services and/or clients
  • Responsible for handling enquiries from all sources pertaining to projects.
  • Involved in implementation of new systems to improve efficiency of processes
  • Responsible for vendor / supplier management
Key responsibilties include:

Project Management:
  • Supports process improvements in support of improved Client Satisfaction;
  • Supports process improvements with key suppliers
  • Contributes to the development, uses and implementation of project management tools and systems to ensure effective scheduling, resource management and on time completion of programs
  • Takes responsibility for implementing schedules and managing change
  • Mitigate project risk
Quality Control:
  • Quality control on deliverables associated with research programs
  • Ensures all QC standards are met by all related parties
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of systems of quality and operations
  • Displays industry sector expertise
Supplier Management:
  • Works with Manager to develop a network of suppliers both within and outside of Kantar that meets the needs of regional healthcare team.
  • Negotiates effectively with suppliers to secure best costs and maximize cost effectiveness.
Financial Management:
  • Accountable for managing processes profitability to drive positive Gross Margin and profit
  • Leads continuous improvement to project processes to maximise project & company profitability
  • Drives efficient and timely invoicing and organisation of financial documentation
  • Develops accurate costs based on brief provided.
Communication:
  • Proactively consults with key stakeholders
  • Communicate project requirements with internal and external suppliers and departments to gain commitment of all parties
  • Actively listens and communicates openly with clients, internal team, suppliers
  • Proactively communicate project status to all stakeholders on a timely basis.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Explores new ways of working to offer better service to Kantar Health Network
  • Actively looks to simplify and improve processes, without compromising on quality.
  • Play active role in implementation of new systems to improve efficiency of process

Working Environment

Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered

This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

Knowledge areas and experience:
  • At least 4 years working experience in project management.
  • Experience in working with Multi-country projects.
  • Experience in research or has understanding of research would be an advantage
  • Experience in sourcing and managing vendors.
  • In-depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities of suppliers /other agencies
  • Some knowledge of Healthcare Industry would be of great advantage.
Skills:
  • Confident analysis and presentation skills
  • Strong administrative skills and outstanding organizational abilities
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
