Job Description

As a Senior Nursing Executive on our Federal Team you will partner with Cerner client clinicians to form longitudinal relationships and impact client performance and satisfaction through optimization activities and strategic initiatives. You will cultivate and maintain relationships with client clinical leadership and key influencers in the health care industry. You will advance client strategy, structure, management, and operations through leadership and change management. You will promote increased client alignment and articulate clinical adoption benefits and best practices. You will drive value achievement through a client partnership that supports clinical, financial, and operational imperatives. You will promote and support reference advocacy activity at client sites. You will support sales processes by providing solution demonstration support and answering request for proposal (RFP) questions. You will generate ideas for the enhancement of solutions and services. You will leverage the use of analytics to promote adoption and optimization.

Working Environment


This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Cerner office or client site. #Remote

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year client relationship management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing work experience
    • At least 7 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Registered Nurse - State Board
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Studies, Health Care, Nursing, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Previous experience with the Veterans Health System
  • Active registration or license in applicable clinical discipline and has not been censured or forced to relinquish license due to impropriety
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
  • Must reside within 60 miles of an already approved location
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
