PRN Physical Therapist

Job Description

Cerner Corporation is currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for an on-site health center in Miamisburg, Ohio.

As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will provide comprehensive medical services on an as needed basis in a team-based clinical setting focused on physical techniques and therapies to treat and rehabilitate members suffering from disorders and/or injuries of the back or musculoskeletal system. You will conduct exams and develop plans, within the scope of professional license, to evaluate and treat injuries and chronic conditions. This includes preparing and carrying out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent physical dysfunction in the patients. You will also spend your time educating and counseling members about preventative care, use of prescribed medical treatments, and fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices. Join today!

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year direct patient care work experience
    • At least 7 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Multiple Issuers
  • Physical Therapy - State Board
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate's degree in Physical Therapy, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
Expectations
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Willing to work on a flexible schedule as needed
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
