Job Description

As an Oracle Cerner Physician Executive, you will engage with clients to improve physician engagement, efficiency, satisfaction, and quality of care. You will work as part of a clinical regional triad, alongside nurse and delivery executive to drive strategic clinical and informatics planning, leveraging Cerner solutions, and identifying performance improvement opportunities around quality, safety, regulatory and clinical decision support, that strive to meet the goals of the quadruple aim in health delivery. Through your analytical skills, you will evaluate emerging healthcare business models, growth opportunities, and overall collaboration opportunities in the broader HIT community. You will also evaluate governance models, support overall organizational change management, and help mentor and develop physician leaders.
In addition, you’ll help advance Oracle Cerner’s clinical products, services and healthcare knowledge by leveraging your clinical expertise, and represent Oracle Cerner in the industry through presentations, publications, and sales activities.

This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Cerner office or client site. #Remote

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 10 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 2 years client relationship management, healthcare information technology (hcit) consulting and/or other client-facing work experience
    • At least 8 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Doctorate's degree in Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical Board Certification
  • 3-5 years of consulting experience
  • Experience with Cerner systems
  • Additional training or certification in clinical informatics
  • Residency in a clinical specialty or 3 yrs of clinical practice as a licensed physician
  • 3-5 yrs of clinical informatics experience
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to travel up to 100% as needed
  • Currently living in a virtually approved USA city (within 60 miles of a major airport)
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
