Client Lead, Market Research

Job Description

The Client Lead, Research is a critical hire for our Cerner Enviza business! The healthcare research space is becoming increasingly important, and you will have the chance be part of an industry that is continuing to evolve and grow. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of relevant experience to expand on their knowledge while working for a global corporation.

The Client Lead works closely with the Senior Client and is responsible for managing a high volume of research projects ensuring they are managed so as to be delivered on time and within budget. The Client Lead is the primary Project Manager for the engagement and must develop a close working relationship with the client(s) ensuring timely communication of project status, escalation of issues to the Research Director when needed and delivery of a high- quality deliverable.

Their blend of consulting, data analytics, and real-world research and evidence enables clients to understand patients, physicians and payers, bring products to market quickly, navigate the regulatory pathway and negotiate payer reimbursement and coverage.

Responsibilities:
  • Be primarily responsible for the daily tasks associated with the project management of an engagement which includes all aspects of client deliverables including: questionnaire design, analysis and crafting of final Real-World Research (RWR) protocols and market research reports.
  • Communicate with clients daily
  • Supports commercial and real-world qualitative research: attend or listen to qualitative research meetings; reviews/revises qualitative reports.
  • Collaborates with the team in the alignment of methods and data analysis plan. For market research, interprets advanced methods output and oversees the preparation of final deliverables using data tabulations; for RWR projects would ensure alignment of protocol, method and data analysis plan.
  • Provides presentation and document submission support to the Research Director.
  • Ensures Adverse Event compliance and reconciliation is completed.
  • May provide training on processes and share client knowledge with Research Managers and Analysts.

This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Cerner office or client site. #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 1 year, licensed health care practice, clinical research, epidemiology and/or biostatistics work experience
  • At least 5 years, additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) the field of Social Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Public Health or a related field is required.
  • Project management skills and proven ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments and identify, secure and employ resources needed to achieve results.
  • Working knowledge of research process and procedures gained from working in Market Research or Health Outcomes Research or in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is required.
  • Experience leading Research projects either primary, retrospective or observational research as part of an integrated team is also required. Demonstrated ability to manage workflow and communication with clients is a “must.”
  • Experience in Oncology and/or Rare Diseases is highly desirable.
  • Experience with qualitative research or secondary databases is also desirable.
Expectations:
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, attendance at conferences, or internal meetings.
