We're currently hiring a Scrum Master I to organize and lead a cross-functional scrum team through the Product Development Process from initiation to release; plan and lead the scrum team through agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprints, and demos; and act as a liaison and primary point of contact between the scrum team(s) and product management, product development and other stakeholder teams. In this role, you will manage the progress of the sprint; identify and escalate distractions and barriers that impede or slow scrum team progress; facilitate collaborative cooperation and consensus within the scrum team and across other stakeholders through coordination and effective communication; and monitor key metrics, such as quality and speed compared to scope, goals, and objectives, and provide regular updates to the scrum team and key stakeholders. Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • 1-year project/program management work experience
    • 4 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) - Scrum Alliance
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM) - Scrum.org
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)
Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
