Job Description

Cerner is excited to hire a Program Manager II. As a Program Manager II, you will design and execute programs aligned with corporate and organizational imperatives and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve vision, objectives, and develop program strategy. In this role, you will manage resources which may include people, data, processes and financial investments and also involve in research and evaluate new processes, methods, practices and materials. Additionally, you will initiate and develop relationships with internal and external constituencies and provide consultative services and support. You will also Develop and maintain program metrics and outcomes reporting.

Working Environment

Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered

This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years Total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year project/program management work experience
    • At least 4 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a Business Continuity Program equivalent role.
  • Knowledge of critical business processes, products, and services.
  • Business Continuity Professional or related Business Continuity / IT Disaster Recovery professional certification.
  • Experience in IT disaster recovery planning experience.
  • Business field experience in technology focused organizations, including plan building.
  • Customer service orientation, including strong communication and leadership skills under stressful conditions.
