Job Description

As a Lead Pharmacy Executive on our Government Services team, you will partner with Cerner client pharmacists to form relationships and holistically impact client pharmacist performance, satisfaction and pharmacy outcomes during client project engagements. As a member of this team, you will manage complex and variable client relationships, using influence to achieve targeted outcomes. You will be responsible for engaging in early client strategic discussions to provide guidance on clinical solution and workflow design decisions. You will be responsible for educating clients on recent clinical literature, sharing expertise to keep clients abreast of the current industry environment as well as perform end-to-end configuration of clinical solution components, including complex, specialized workflows and antimicrobial stewardship. Your responsibilities will include providing oversight and direction to internal project team members to ensure solution configuration and timelines are delivered to the client as committed, and that standard recommendations are applied. Finally, you will be responsible for contributing to organizational and internal team initiatives.

Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of total combined completed higher education and related work experience including:
    • At least 2 years of client relationship management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing work experience
    • At least 8 years of completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
      • Doctorate in Pharmacy
  • Pharmacist - State Board
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)

Expectations:
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location
  • Must be willing to travel up to 80-100% as needed
  • Active registration or license in applicable clinical discipline and has not been censured or forced to relinquish license due to impropriety
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
