Senior Technical Developer/Sales Engineer (m/w/d) Berlin/remote

As a senior sales engineer, you support the sales process with deep and fundamental technical knowledge in and work closely together with international Cerner partners, prospects and clients, mainly focused on Southern Europe, Latin America (LATAM) and Middle East Africa (MEA) regions. You oversee the technical market and competitor strategies to best place Cerner and in complex acquisition projects. Based on this, you support the dynamic sales process and sales associates by supporting our partners with technical proposals for RFP/RFI/RFQs in response to client needs. You design, develop, analyze, and test solutions for the international presentation system. With your project development experience you extend the environment with new developments, prototype and integrate third-party solutions in You are in charge of our technical approach of our international presentation environment and work closely together with presenters, network associates, sales representatives and external contractors to provide a stable system environment.

You employ knowledge of industry intelligence and trends to promote and differentiate our competitive advantages. You actively maintain content of the international presentation environment with a development view and expand the portfolio with valuable technical components supporting clinical workflows by adapting and implementing news you receive from client presentations or our sales team. You promote Cerner solutions at industry events, trade shows, regional client meetings and create and maintain standard and acquisition specific presentation materials and templates. In the ecosystem portfolio, you are overlooking requirements and solution gaps and you communicate these to Cerner stakeholders, such as consulting and development. You support our presenter and help to be successful with our presentations. You enjoy communicating in English – both written and verbally – as we are an international team with associates in LATAM and Europe, and our joint communication language is English. The advertised position also offers you the option to get involved in training topics and to contribute your development know-how to our trainings for partners and new associates.

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Medical Informatics or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • Several years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) / SAP project development experience (ABAP, ABAP OO, FIORI, interface know-how)
  • English for business communication (German would be a plus)
Preferred qualifications
  • Knowledge of the product portfolio
  • Knowledge of international requirements of healthcare IT markets
  • Experience with workflow oriented developments
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • Ability to work overtime and irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
