Qualifications
Basic Qualifications- At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 1 year of System administration and/or system engineering work experience.
- At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems,
Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems,
- Developing and integrating solution in cooperation with Infrastructure and Application project teams for solid infrastructure automation using existing industry standards, best practices and know-hows fitting it into existing infrastructure and operations framework.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades, and resource optimization.
- Implement monitoring for applications and servers, and respond to alarms in a timely manner, preventing client impact and performance degradation.
- Manage changes and project activities, and communicate with impacted stakeholders.
- Deploy, setup, and maintain complex testing environments.
- Design and develop re-usable automation scripts or services, including the creation, research and implementation of API's to underlying services to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create technical design and user documents to ensure features and functions are documented and understood.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure components using industry standard configuration management practices.
- Monitor for and address identified system issues that may impact performance or availability.
- Delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. Identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed.
