Job Description

As a Consultant on a CommunityWorks clinical implementation team, you will be working with a designated clinical department on various implementation projects. You will consult with clients on comprehensive service line workflows, data collection needs, and help determine training and testing strategies. You will identify, resolve, and report solution status, risks, and issues to the client and project leadership, coach your subject matter experts on data collection and system design requirements and provide recommendations on optimal solution build and implementation. You will also consult with internal project and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines and project updates, and verify configuration requests. As a key member of the CommunityWorks team you will build positive client relationships and help navigate through conflict and complex situations to achieve business objectives. You will also be responsible for supporting internal team initiatives along with integrated collaboration efforts among our broader Consulting organization.

    Hybrid or Remote

    This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications
    • At least 5 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
      • At least 1 year of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
      • At least 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
    Preferred Qualification
    • A Bachelor’s degree
    Expectations
    • Willing to travel up to 100% of the time as needed
    • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City Metropolitan area; or live within 60 miles of an approved virtual city
    • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
    • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
    • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
