Job Description

Cerner Enviza is seeking a Health Economics and Outcome Research (HEOR) Intern who will work closely with the HEOR senior analysts to implement Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) studies.

Responsibilities:
  • Support health economic studies and literature reviews.
  • Provide research, writing and editing support for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) studies.
  • Support research and support reports for projects delivering strategic advice to clients on research agendas, value proposition and market access outcomes research/health services research.
  • Compile, analyze and interpret real-world (RWE) data.
  • Document, plan, and track project tasks and manage timelines.
  • Conduct literature reviews and synthesize literature.
  • Present updates and research findings to internal audiences.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Secondary School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:
  • University degree (in progress) in a health-related or life sciences field (e.g., biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics, economics, engineering, mathematics, or statistics.

Expectations:
  • Understanding of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) work concepts and practices with experience executing priority programs with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Research and analysis skills required for conducting literature reviews, gap assessment, secondary data analysis methods
  • Comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts, methods, and practices used in the design and execution of scientific projects and research studies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), as well as bibliographic software
  • Working with Excel spreadsheet models
  • Knowledge of commonly used statistical programs (e.g., R, SAS) used in HEOR analyses
  • Good communication skills in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
