Senior Product Owner

Job Description

Manage a subset of overall product backlog for multiple scrum teams (scrum of scrums) or multiple highly complex products. Conduct product and team backlog grooming and break down complex product requirements for multiple development teams. Leverage domain and user expertise to create and prioritize epics and user stories for product development. Develop clear and testable story and feature acceptance criteria that create shared understanding of desired results; review and accept backlog items as ready. Plan and perform functional testing, including user acceptance and exploratory testing. Evaluate development risks, perform hazard analysis, recommend, and implement mitigations. Track product functionality and performance, as required by regulatory standards, to ensure that it meets market needs. Lead key agile ceremonies, such as sprint review, optimizing for maximum value. Manage ongoing and key communications between product and scrum teams and other cross-functional product stakeholders. Leverage domain expertise to influence overall product vision and roadmap. Partner with Scrum Master(s) to identify continuous improvement opportunities within processes and implement strategies to drive improvements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Total combined related work experience and completed higher education, At least 8 years, including:
    • Product design, product testing, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other HCIT solution work experience, At least 2 years
    • Additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, At least 6 years
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Business, Health Care or Computer Science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
