Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description

The People Analytics and Workforce Strategy team is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This person will be responsible for managing, prioritizing, and executing requests for human capital data. In addition to becoming a subject matter expert in human capital reporting, this person will coordinate with a team of analysts to deliver recurring, ad-hoc and planned reporting needs. This person should have a passion for reporting, an eye for detail, and an ability to identify opportunities our reporting processes, capabilities and practices. This person will conduct final quality assurance of HR analytics and reports and coordinate delivery between HR reporting and internal clients in Cerner such as: our HR centers of expertise (DEI, Talent Acquisition, Associate Relations, Learning, Total Rewards, etc.), HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, and functional teams (Legal, Finance, Compliance).

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
    • At least 2 years of business analytics work experience
    • At least 6 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study
      • At least 1 year experience with Excel and/or PowerBI

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year experience in Human Resources information systems (HRIS)

  • Residing in Kansas City or a virtually approved city
  • Must live in or around the Kansas City area or near a virtually approved city
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
