Manager, Real-World Evidence Consulting (A)

Job Description

Cerner Enviza is seeking a Manager, Real-World Evidence Consulting (A) who will work
closely with the RWE analysts, other managers and clients to implement RWE studies (mainly literature review, medical writing and non-interventional studies).

Responsibilities:
  • Approach project management in a holistic way from commissioning to delivery and anticipate impact of inter-related activities; contribute to the achievement of pre-defined revenue and gross margin targets through efficient project management skills and mentorship of junior team members.
  • Guide study material (protocol, screener, questionnaire, discussion guide), prepare kick off meeting with client and agencies; ensure clear task ownership within project team
  • Act as an engagement leader to deliver projects on client request.
  • Maximize resources, talent and capabilities of all elements of the team to increase impact on clients and grow a larger and more profitable company.
  • Anticipate project challenges, propose, and implement cost saving solutions when possible.
  • Support business and client development activities as appropriate
  • Write impactful proposals.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful pitches in collaboration with commercial team.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to time and budget to maximize job profitability and timely revenue recognition.
  • Develop /adapt the offers to the client current and future needs in alignment with business strategy
  • Think out of the box (more than directors) on methodology, new approaches, new opportunities for business, and develop solution's value preposition

Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
At least 8 years total combined work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 2 years – licensed health care practice, clinical research, epidemiology, and/or biostatistics work experience
  • At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
  • At least 2 years people management, matrix management, project manager, or other indirect work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PhD in Life Sciences is preferred
  • Experience in Life sciences (Biology, bioinformatics, neuroscience, pharmD, epidemiology)
  • Knowledge of theories, concepts, methods, and practices used in the design and execution of scientific projects and research studies.
  • Deep knowledge about clinical trials legislations
  • Understanding of RWE work concepts and practices with experience executing priority programs with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Research and analysis skills required for conducting literature reviews, gap assessment, secondary data analysis methods
  • Knowledge of commonly used statistical programs (e.g., R, SAS) used in HEOR analyses
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), as well as bibliographic software
Expectations:
  • Good communication skills in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
