Cerner is hiring a Test Automation Engineer II to develop, maintain, and execute test plans as well as develop, maintain, and execute automation tests. You will be responsible for documenting test execution issues and deliverables; troubleshooting complex testing scenarios and environment issues; and writing complex SQL scripts. You will ensure scalability of automation and Continuous Integration across the solution; assist in analysis; and train associates on testing tools. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
    • 1 year software testing and/or software quality assurance work experience
    • 5 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Must currently reside within 60 miles of a virtually approved city

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
