Qualifications
Basic Qualifications- At least 6 years of total combined work experience and completed higher education
- At least 1 year software engineer work experience including:
- At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, and Information Technology
- 3+ years of experience with Java, or similar high-level language
- Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL and other Database Management tooling
- A working knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Junit, Mockito etc.)
- An advanced understanding of source code management and git
- Familiarity with standard SAFe Agile software development practices
- Experience with automation and continuous delivery using Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tooling
- Knowledge of build and package management systems such as Maven and Docker
- Experience working with Chef, Splunk, Zabbix, Ansible, or related DevOps tooling
Expectations
- Must be willing to reside or relocate to Kansas City OR live in a virtually approved city
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
