Financial Analyst II

Job Description

As a financial analyst II you will analyze financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying financial data to recommend actions to business leaders. Primarily, you will analyze complex financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) and issues related to the company’s financial goals and standing. You will also review analysis, variances, and trends and recommend actions to improve the company’s financial performance and standing and create reports to summarize complex financial data and highlight status, risks, and insights for leadership. Furthermore, you will conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop robust forecast models and leverage modeling to predict short-term financial results based on current company and market drivers. Finally, you will evaluate and adjust assumptions within financial models based on variance between actual and predicted financial performance and train onboarding financial analysts.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • A total combined related work experience and completed higher education of at least 6 years
    • At least 1 year of finance and/or accounting work experience
    • At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Finance
Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
