Senior Team Lead, Real-World Evidence Consulting

Job Description

Cerner Enviza is seeking a Senior Team Lead, Real-World Evidence Consulting who is responsible for providing strong hands-on innovative leadership in creating new offerings related to data analytics, as well as identifying and creating new linked data initiatives to address client issues.
In this role, the Senior Team Lead, Real-World Evidence Consulting is expected to fully understand the data analytics business issues to be solved, determine what individual or linked healthcare datasets and big data tools can be used to best solve these issues, and be hands-on in solving these issues with predictive tools.

Data Analytics:

  • Working in partnership with internal and external clients, create new data analytics offerings based on available datasets, e.g., NHWS, Electronic Health Records (EHR), claims data, or these datasets linked together) using big data methodologies and tools. Partner with the client consulting team to consult with clients on this new offer.
  • Work with clients and internal colleagues to provide subject-matter expertise and thought leadership on data analytics internally and externally.
  • Build out of Proofs of Concept based on available Cerner Enviza data sets and the selected big data tools.

Biostatistical Support for Linked Data:

  • Use biostatistics and Real-World Evidence Data to provide hands-on leadership on selected linked data studies.
  • Collaborate in the transition of linked data projects to the other internal teams by providing efficiency tools as well as expertise.
  • Be part of the team helping to address new linked data opportunities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Required at least 6 years, total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • Required at least 1-year experience at a licensed health care practice, project/program management, process development/improvement and/or other clinical research work experience and
  • Required at least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
    • Master’s degree in Biostatistics or a related quantitative field or relevant degree or relevant work experience
    • Prefer at least 1 year of People management, matrix management, project management or other indirect leadership work experience
Desired Experience:
  • Knowledge of Python and/or R and SQL
  • Hands-on experience doing statistical analysis in healthcare, along with experience using real-world evidence data (preferably EHR (electronic health records and claims data)
