Senior System Architect

London, London, United Kingdom

Information Technology

Job Description

We’re changing how people think about healthcare. We have a passion for new ideas that bring positive change and a culture that is supportive, inclusive, productive and one that has allowed Cerner to improve healthcare IT for more than 40 years. We strive to deliver value in all we do, and support organizations to deliver the quadruple aim of healthcare. Our technology supports healthcare systems, caregivers, hospitals, GPs and community services to be the best they can be and to deliver connected, safe care.

Cerner’s Population Health Practice is a new exciting part of our organization, transforming the way care is managed and delivered, using technology to underpin the management of population health across geographies.

Cerner’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) is a standards-based, vendor neutral solution for securely sharing patient data across disparate systems applicable to all health and care settings.  While not being standards-limited, Cerner HIE uses IHE IT Infrastructure standards to provide a robust framework for interoperability. IHE profiles support the storage, management and availability of critical health information.

As Senior System Architect, you will be determining the architectural design of Cerner’s solutions as it relates to system maintenance, upgrades, and performance. Your key responsibilities will include leading build activities and technical support responsibilities, managing projects and support queues for solutions and services, consulting with other teams for incident resolution and proactive solutions, and analyzing, troubleshooting and improving system performance. The Senior System Architect will also manage the relationship with support teams and act as the point of contact for support escalations, and diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot technical problems to resolve issues.

You will complete assigned incident management tasks, setup, maintain environments, provide Tier III and other support per service request.
