Job Description

As a Senior Physician Executive in Cerner Government Services you will cultivate and maintain clinical relationships within client base and overall health care industry. You will facilitate clinical discussions with clients around alignment and adoption of technology. This role will allow you to articulate clinical adoption benefits to clients and advise on best practices as well as support reference advocacy activity at client sites. In scope will be to support the sales processes by providing solution demonstration support and answering request for proposal (RFP) questions as well as generate ideas for the design and development of solutions and services. Finally you will leverage the use of analytics to promote adoption and optimization.

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
    • At least 1 year of client relationship management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing work experience
    • At least 7 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
      • Doctorate in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Informatics experience

Expectations:
  • Must be residing in or willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75% as needed
  • Licensed/current Physician - completion of residency. Board certification preferred, but not required
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
