Job Description

As an Experience Partner, you are responsible for hosting and planning client engagements in the Client & Services Organization (CSO) as a member of the Client Engagement and Communications Team. Your role is to lead a variety of client engagements at one time, which could be in person, at a client site, virtual or hybrid, and includes developing client engagement agendas, including engagement preparation calls, outreach to engagement speakers, rehearsal activities, session recommendations, and creative content ideas to meet the engagement goals. Also, establish positive working relationships with Cerner executives and leadership, contribute to regular leadership reports for upcoming, current, and past events – evaluating objectives, and ROI, and desired outcomes. You will utilize Salesforce as a part of daily work to manage, track and report on requested client engagements. As well as participate in content development and planning for client engagement activities, as it aligns to the comprehensive Client Engagement & Events Strategic Plan. In addition, you will support other client engagements as directed by the Manager – Client Engagement & Events.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
    • At least 1 year of customer service, hospitality, event planning, project/program management, client relationship management, and/or other client-facing work experience
    • At least 4 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Communications, or Marketing
  • At least 1 year of all aspects of communications specialties including writing, presentation design, content/creative development, strategic planning/messaging, and talent management
  • At least 1 year of experience with creative and project management tools including Salesforce, Microsoft Teams/SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word
  • At least 1 year of healthcare marketing, communications, or events
  • At least 1 year of experience with executive communications and coaching
  • At least 1 year of experience in a competitive landscape for specific markets for Cerner
Expectations
  • Must reside in or around the Kansas City area
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
