As a Learning Consultant I at Capital Region Medical Center, you develop, implement, and evaluate training and education programs to promote growth, development, and adoption. You will leverage your experience to consult with and coordinate between Cerner and client project leaders at MU Health to identify capability gaps impacting current and future business strategies; develop appropriate learning curriculum to meet business needs including process design and solution adoption best practices to address gaps in motivation and ability. The role requires conducting training and classroom-based coaching onsite and in virtual environments as well as providing real-time support and education to end-users through walk-in help rooms and phone lines. Coaching and training will also include rounding with end-users to clinics and acute locations working alongside clinicians to provide education of more efficient EMR functions. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain course content for eLearning modules and end-user educational documents to help address current solution features, functions, and workflow to address client needs; and evaluate learning solution effectiveness using best practice methodologies aligned with performance and business outcomes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
    • At least 1 year learning/adult education, project/program management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 4 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education including:
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Education, Health Care, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience
  • At least 1 year of experience using Cerner Millennium including PowerChart (acute and ambulatory)

Expectations
  • Must reside in or around the Jefferson City, Missouri area
  • Willing to travel as needed around the local area
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of the position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
