Job Description

  • As a data engineer, you will use big data tools to implement batch and streaming feature pipelines and pipelines to populate a data lake; create clear, well-constructed strategic technical designs for small scope projects; estimate work effort for current and future projects of small to moderate scope; assist in maintaining and supporting the platform, pipelines and tooling; leverage deep knowledge of and ability to operationalize leading data technologies and best practices enable advanced analytics capabilities.  This includes the ingestion and transformation of data that provides critical information to the business and key stakeholders. Other responsibilities include design and standup up a robust data warehouse to support to support reporting & analytics for internal stakeholders and clients; design and code data pipeline features and data processing jobs for collecting product lifecycle management data from disparate systems for the purpose of storing in a data warehouse; create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture; monitor and manage implementation to ensure high quality and alignment with defined requirements

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:

  • 1 year software engineering work experience

  • 5 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience

  • 2 years of work experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Databrick

  • 2 years of work experience with Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies

  • 2 Years of work experience with any Data base SQL, Oracle ..etc.

  • 1 year of Big Data technology experience with solutions such as Snowflake, Azure SQL Data base, Azure SQL Warehouse.

  • Coding ability on any languages Java, Python, Scala.

Expectations

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report and compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
