Job Description

As a Software Engineer I on the Custom Applications team at our Tiger Institute ITWorksite, you will develop, deploy, and support dynamic technologies that support the University of Missouri Hospital System. You will be responsible for writing code, testing, and debugging software. Additionally, this team builds data systems that provide insight into the hospital's data. You will understand user needs, provide input to design, develop integrations, and troubleshoot issues across Cerner's technology solutions. You may also participate in making enhancements to existing software from requirements and participate in code reviews. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 4 years total combined higher education and related work experience including:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience using C#, SQL, and JavaScript

Expectations

  • ​​​Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Columbia, MO area
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
