Sales Executive – Clinical Imaging

Job Description

Cerner's Clinical Imaging Sales team is growing and is hiring a motivated and high performing Sales Executive. In this position, you will identify and qualify potential opportunities of Cerner’s clinical imaging and oncology solution’s, supporting technologies, and coordinate all sales activities up to and including contract execution. You will build and maintain client relationships at the department head and CXO levels, conduct white space analysis to drive opportunity identification for assigned solution or venue, and build and maintain a pipeline and collaborate on opportunity forecast for your assigned territory. You will also support sales events, including proposal creation, demonstrations and reference visits, and create sales orders and review for accuracy based upon client requests, solution requirements, and pre-negotiated terms. Most importantly, you will manage a pipeline and forecast in order to drive sales opportunities to close against a sales quota. Basic Qualifications
  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year of Sales, business development, client relationship management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years of healthcare sales experience
  • Experience in clinical areas of Cardiology, Oncology, Radiology, or other clinical physician and nursing areas

  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
  • Must currently reside in Kansas City or live within 60 miles of a Cerner virtually approved city
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
