Job Description

As a Clinical Terminologist, you’ll be acquiring and standardizing clinical data across the continuum of care to enable solutions that effectively manage populations. We aim to produce the highest quality data element mappings in the most efficient and effective manner possible. You’ll be analyzing the data to correctly identify concepts within health care.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 6 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
    • 1 year of clinical content, product design, medical terminology and/or other healthcare information technology (HCIT) solution work experience
    • 5 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:
      • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care, Clinical Studies, Life Sciences, Health Informatics; or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience
  • ​Registered Nurse - State Board, Medical Technologist - State Board, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Certification - AHIMA, Radiologic Technologist - State Board or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) - ARRT, or Pharmacy Technician - State Board
  • Willing to travel up to 0-20% of the time as needed
  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Kansas City metropolitan or live in a virtually approved city
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
