Consultant II - Charge Services

Job Description

As a Consultant II on the Charge Services team, you will consult with Cerner clients to deliver consulting services. You will consult with clients on comprehensive service line workflows, including current state and future state, and work with clients to map out stop-start-continue processes to determine how the system will be designed and tested. You will identify, resolve and report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership, coach-client on data collection and system design requirements, and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation. As a key member of the team, you will consult with the internal project and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines, and project updates, and verify configuration requests. You will also maintain client relationships and navigate through conflict and complex relationship situations to achieve business objectives, coach and mentor associate consultants, and support internal team initiatives. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 5 years total combined elated work experience and completed higher education including:
    • At least 1 year of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 4 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree

Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 50% if needed
  • Currently live in or around the Kansas City metropolitan area, or be willing to relocate, or live near a major international airport
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
