Downstream Product Marketer

Job Description

As a Downstream Product Marketer on the Clinical Downstream Product Marketing team, you will serve as the primary owner of downstream marketing strategy for some of Cerner’s clinical products. This will include the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for products to drive demand and adoption across our current and prospective client base. In this role, you will collaborate with business and sales leaders to gain an understanding of products and go-forward business strategies to create a comprehensive and strategic communication plan as part of our broader product portfolio management efforts. You will also consult with corporate marketing to create and coordinate the production of messaging, collateral, and product campaigns spanning across mediums.

In addition, this role will project manage various initiatives related to portfolio management. You will monitor and track program effectiveness and apply best practice methodologies to program development and execution. If you are looking for a new and exciting opportunity, apply now!

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
    • At least 1 year of product marketing, product management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other marketing or HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, or healthcare
  • At least 1 year of experience working for healthcare and/or technology companies
  • At least 1 year of product marketing, go-to-market strategy, content creation, and/or email marketing experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in or related to project management and managing multiple projects at one time

Expectations
  • Must live in or around the Kansas City area, be willing to relocate, or live near a virtually approved city with the ability to travel to Kansas City if needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
