As a Project Manager, you will provide process and structure to manage initiatives related to Cerner’s partnership with Lumeris, called Maestro. You will manage initiatives from ideation to completion, including solution development, go-to-market initiatives, and finance and legal activities. This is an opportunity to join Cerner’s Health Network team in a role supporting one of Cerner’s highest-potential partnerships that combines Cerner’s technology with Lumeris’ value-based care operational expertise to help health systems remain financial sustainable and resilient by transitioning from fee-for-service to value-based reimbursement models. This is an excellent role for someone interested in growing multiple skillsets, including project management, product development, sales and marketing, and healthcare economics acumen, particularly value-based care models.
In this role, you will: ou will partner across Cerner and Lumeris leadership to define requirements, timelines, activities, and needed resources to inform evaluation of potential projects, partner across Cerner and Lumeris to drive active projects toward on-time/on-budget delivery, including regular clear communication to stakeholders, issue resolution, reliable estimates of project timeline and cost, and project documentation. As a Project Manager you will use the Clarity Project Portfolio Management suite (PPM) to manage activities, resources, and timelines of Maestro initiatives from ideation to completion. Manage agendas and take meeting notes for all significant Maestro meetings, including monthly committee meetings, administer, support, and train end-users on Maestro’s implementation of PPM and ensure it provides the appropriate structure and process to guide Maestro initiatives, Also use Salesforce to manage later-stage sales opportunities and provide reporting on Maestro go-to-market activities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year project/Program management work experience
    • At least 5 years Additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • Working knowledge of healthcare economics, including fee-for-service and value-based care clinical, operational, and financial delivery models
  • Experience managing projects with and/or administering Clarity Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
  • Experience using Salesforce to manage and report on go-to-market and opportunity activities
  • Experience building and administering dashboards using Microsoft Power BI

Expectations
  • Willing o travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City Metropolitan area; or live within 60 miles of an approved virtual city
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
