In our team we develop the Cerner Next Emergency Department solution intended to serve the physicians and nurses that give critical assistance to their patients. Our solution comprises workflows that are specific for the Emergency department, as well as some common for the whole hospital. We are using AI, ML, voice recognition to create a fast documentation model for the clinicians, so that they are investing their time in the patient care.

As an Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for writing and configuring code in accordance with our client’s technical specifications. To ensure timely delivery, our development teams follow the agile methodology. You will make enhancements to existing software with minimal direction, participate in code reviews and identify moderate issues/deviations from best practices, collaborate on component level technical designs, own and assist others in debugging and documenting root cause analysis and resolution. You will also identify process improvements at the team level to support operations and development ecosystem, provide software release support and mentor and train new associates within your team and/or training programs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems or 4 years relevant work experience, plus:
    • At least 1 year in Software engineering work experience;
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts
  • Strong Java language knowledge
  • Java Spring framework
  • Web API and REST services
  • Work experience with continuous integration tools and methodologies is a plus (Jenkins);
  • Experience working with SQL data sources
  • Experience in Cloud architecture is a plus
  • Working with a source control system (example: GIT)
  • Agile development knowledge or experience;
  • Experience with REACT is a plus

Expectations:
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations;
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position;
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
