Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Gothenburg, Vastra Gotaland County, Sweden

Job Description

At Cerner, we are working at the intersection of health and technology. We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organisations worldwide, and we are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our Swedish team. Cerner has partnered with Sweden’s regions to provide an integrated digital healthcare environment for regional healthcare, replacing many existing IT systems in hospitals and primary care facilities. Conjointly, Cerner’s Population Health Practice is a new exciting part of our organisation transforming the way care is managed and delivered, using Cerner’s industry leading technology, HealtheIntent, to underpin the management of population health across geographies. The Population Health Europe team offers the opportunity to be part of a growing and continuously improving unit with all the rewards and challenges that a start-up opportunity brings.

As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will conduct data discovery, analysis, and profiling of data, to validate business requirements and provide inputs into functional design. You will serve as domain expert pertaining to reporting solutions and identify and manage data quality or integrity issues within the domain. You will contribute and develop high quality analytics for Cerner’s population health strategic programs using Business Objects and Tableau and collaborate with internal and client teams to design the structure of data solutions and plan their implementation within the team. This will involve exploring new ways to present data insights to end users within a project. You will also troubleshoot and fix data loads and other issues within a data mart. As a senior associate, you will manage small scale product commitments to business stakeholders and mentor newer associates in report development and solution knowledge.

In addition to developing content, you will also help to guide our clients through new product implementation, which includes helping them to understand our core data model principles, providing key advice in data onboarding, and helping our clients get the best out of the products that are available to them. Using your ETL and database knowledge, combined with your technical skills you will guide our clients to excellence by creating impactful analytics and providing top rate consultancy, which will enable Cerner’s clients to improve patient outcomes, enable self-service redesign, reduce per capita cost and help to establish data driven cultures. As well as delivering value to clients, you will be expected to contribute and identify areas for process improvement internally. You will take the lead in driving through workflows and business processes. You will work with colleagues from other solution areas and clients to leverage best practice examples and identify strategic benefits from implementing the reporting solutions. You should be proficient in change management, helping clients identify opportunities for improvements, and be accountable for achieving the project’s stated outcomes as well as explaining and demonstrating the benefits of Cerner’s solutions.

If you’re out to change the world in ways that matter, we want to hear from you. As a Cerner Associate you will be joining an inclusive, social and innovative workplace that has a strong emphasis on developing talent and promotion from within. You will be rewarded for you hard work with a competitive salary and a host of additional benefits including generous insurance and pension plans, season ticket loan scheme, active lifestyle reimbursements and cycle to work programs.
