As the Clinical Consultant you will partner with Cerner client clinical stakeholders to form relationships and holistically impact client clinical performance, satisfaction, and clinical and business outcomes during project engagements. You will manage complex client relationships with a high degree of variability that require influence to achieve targeted outcomes and also manage complex client relationships with a high degree of variability that require influence to achieve targeted outcomes. You will be able to analyze and interpret data to identify key performance indicators for maintaining business continuity and create mitigation plan to address risk areas.

As the Senior Clinical Consultant you will identify organizational opportunities to improve quality of care and patient safety and influence client clinical workflow design strategy. You will also coach and mentor other clinical consultants and contribute to internal team value.

About Clinical

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a licensed clinical nursing role or healthcare work experience
  • At least 2 year’s health care information technology (HCIT) consulting work experience
  • Nursing experience
Preferred qualifications:
  • A minimum of 6 year’s people management work experience
Expectations:
  • Eligible for licensure to practice in their field or comparable global training
  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
