Cerner's Interop Business Development group is hiring a Performance Improvement Leader, and in this role you will lead performance improvement strategies impacting Cerner client engagements by cultivating external client relationships to achieve business objectives. Some of your responsibilities will include directing and supporting a team of associates responsible for client engagement deliverables; consulting with external clients to define key value objectives for the engagement, scope, and success metrics; collaborating to determine appropriate strategic solutions for complex challenges; and identifying data points for baseline analysis and discovery. If you have a passion for data, you will be able to consult with data analysts to develop analytics strategy, and you will lead solution and performance analysis and discovery with clients to develop a performance improvement strategy and approach that achieves improvement objectives. Finally, you will work in a collaborative environment by supporting business development and defining new portfolio offerings via the creation of collateral and repeatable processes. About Client Services


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • At least 3 years of Technology implementation or strategic consulting work experience
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of health care information technology (HCIT) project management, sales or consulting work experience
  • Willing to travel up to 60% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Must currently reside within 60 miles of a virtually approved city

Additional Information

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
