Job Description

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide system implementation, support, monitoring and maintenance of Cerner’s solutions and services. You will be responsible for performing daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability, ongoing performance tuning, upgrades, vulnerability mediation, and resource optimization. As a member of the team, you will support the data center infrastructure and operations as needed and participate the on-call rotations.

About Engineering & Technology


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years of System engineering work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: CCNA, VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, VCAP-DCV, VMware Specialist – vSAN
  • Healthcare IT background
  • Strong knowledge and solid experience on Vmware stack: vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, VCF, vROPS, vRNI and etc.
  • Experience with managing OS images on various Linux and Windows 2016
  • Experience with Cisco UCS platform
