Job Description

As a Consultant, on the Ambulatory/Physician Track team, you will consult with Cerner clients to deliver consulting services. You will guide internal and external project teams on service line workflows and system design recommendations and interdependencies in complex client environments. You will provide solution specific oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders and manage cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve service line and project strategic vision. Be able to promote workflow optimization across service lines. Drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients. You will mitigate solution risks and issues and lead client meetings and events. You will drive associate growth and development via proactive support and coaching of internal team members, as well as drive organizational initiatives.

About Clinical


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in health care, business, or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • At least 4 years of software implementation work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of health care information technology (HCIT) consulting or support work experience


  • Willing to travel up to 50% as needed
  • Currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City metropolitan area, or reside near a major international airport
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Additional Information
