As Director and General Manager for London, you will be working with colleagues to build and maintain strategic partnerships at senior levels of the NHS, Local Authorities and the City. The role will focus on building on our existing trusted client partnerships across London in order to develop new partnerships within all five of the Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) that make up the London region and members of the NHS regional leadership team. We are looking for an executive with high levels of energy and proven results in driving vision and strategy, who can create alliances, based on current and future market trends, for integrated care and population health management and ultimately execute on growth and innovation strategies.

You will coach and manage a diverse team of highly experienced client accountable executives. This is a key leadership role within Cerner UK. We have a unique opportunity to be a key lever driving the transformation change of health and care in London and the UK. In this context, this is a high-profile role to bring expertise in building relationships, devising integrated strategies and connecting all segments of health, care and consumer in order to lead Cerner’s next level strategy across London, facilitating growth and connecting to the rest of the UK.

About Sales, Marketing & Strategy


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in healthcare, software services or technology sales, implementation, or support
  • Experience in translating sophisticated technical approaches to consumable messages that drive client action
  • At least 4 years of people management experience
  • Experience building relationships with NHS Trust Executive Board members, Local Authority officers, CXOs and government leaders
  • Relevant experience working with members of NHS England, NHS Improvement, NHS Digital, PHE, NHSX
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration
  • 5+ years in healthcare or social care
  • 5+ years in sales management
  • Previous experience in managing teams
  • Previous responsibility managing partner programs
  • Relevant experience with Cerner Millennium
  • Experience working with Integration Care/ Population Health Management systems and executing strategy
  • Understanding and use of Salesforce
  • Must be willing to reside within commuting distance to London
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
