Job Description

Join our team as a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse for our on-site health center for a large, local employer in Covington. This health center has a proactive, educative approach where associates and their dependents are motivated to adopt healthy lifestyles and practices.

As the PRN LPN, you will support the providers and nurses with care for patients within the scope of their licensure by assisting in the treatment of acute, chronic and complex disease management and promoting wellness and illness prevention through direct member care as directed by a provider. You will also be responsible for taking member vitals, inputting member symptoms into an electronic medical record, collecting laboratory specimens, administering immunization/shots, scheduling follow-up appointments, referrals and diagnostic testing, assisting with procedures and patient education.

About Clinical


Basic Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse - State Board

  • At least 2 years of direct patient care work experience in a Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care or Urgent Care health center setting

  • High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification

  • Electronic Medical Record Experience


  • Must reside in or near the Covington area
