Job Description

Cerner Government Solutions is looking for a Product Manager to manage and deliver an enterprise solution to our customer. Qualified candidates will be responsible for identifying new enabling technologies and platforms to help solve technical challenges and serve as a subject matter expert for one or more software solutions. You will also lead research and consultation decisions on existing or emerging technologies and associated services, processes and support strategies. In addition, you will lead the evaluation of technology innovation and set direction for technology roadmap, implementation and support strategies for technology roadmap and domain architecture. You will also define documentation requirements and assist in the preparation of proper documentation compliant with standard operating procedures utilizing Agile methodologies and Human Center Design tools.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of experience in Product design, product strategy, health care information technology (HCIT) consulting or other relevant product-related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of Project or Program Management experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in Human Center Design, and Agile development/coaching experience
  • Scrum Certification
Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Additional Information

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
