Job Description

As a Lead Federal Integration Architect, you will evaluate existing and proposed systems and system enhancements to determine requirements and ensure client integration solutions meet organizational needs. You will effectively demonstrate knowledge of how to architect and use automation to deploy secure and robust applications on AWS technologies. You will define solutions using architectural design principles with hands-on experience using AWS Services. You will design and develop solutions to integrate applications between Cerner and federal client systems. You will create and document visual representations of systems and their inputs and outputs. You will partner with Cerner and client delivery teams to implement integration solutions within defined project scope. You will collaborate with engineering teams, development teams, client end users, and other stakeholders as appropriate. You will troubleshoot and debug system issues to increase integration performance and quality of data. You will optimize maintenance and deployments to ensure integrated functioning.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or, Software Engineering
  • At least 8 years of system or solution integration work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least six years of system or solution integration work experience for federal government information systems
  • Experience with FedRamp
  • Experience with NIST 800-53
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework
  • Experience with AWS and Cloud Services
  • Effectively demonstrate knowledge of how to architect and use automation to deploy secure and robust applications on AWS technologies
  • Define solutions using architectural design principles with hands-on experience using AWS Services
  • Hands-on experience with AWS deployment and management services
  • Ability to identify and define technical requirements for on premise solutions transitioning to an AWS-based application
  • Ability to identify which AWS services meet a given technical requirement
  • Knowledge of recommended best practices for building secure and reliable applications on the AWS platform
  • Significant experience in automating infrastructure hardening to meet Federal requirements
  • An understanding of architectural principles of building on the within the AWS GovCloud
  • An understanding of the AWS global infrastructure & network technologies as they relate to AWS
  • An understanding of security features and tools that AWS provides and how they relate to traditional services
  • Significant experience with site reliability engineering
  • Experience designing and implementing resiliency testing
  • Experience leading Communities of Practice
  • Experience transforming and migrating data

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
