Lead Communications Partner

Job Description

As a Lead Communications Partner you will create communications strategy informed by competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, audience identification and collaboration with team. You will support the client through the Cerner deployment process. You will prepare comprehensive and strategic communication plans across appropriate platforms. You will manage communications output against editorial calendar and reactive opportunities. You will manage creation and curation of communications including white papers, articles, web pages, social media, presentations and other marketing collateral. You will develop and deploy a strategy to leverage content for adaptation and use in various mediums while assuring the communication of a consistent and uniform message. You will collaborate with leaders and peers to gain an understanding of solutions, business strategy and health care industry to create content for assigned projects. You will set strategy to leverage new communications trends and platforms or emerging risks.

About Sales, Marketing & Strategy


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications
  • At least five years of Business writing or business communications work experience
  • At least one year of people management work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare or Federal communications experience


  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as required

Additional Information

Applicants for U.S.-based positions with Cerner must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
