Job Description

As a Lead Federal Integration Architect in Cerner Government Services, you will evaluate existing and proposed systems and system enhancements to determine requirements and ensure client integration solutions meet organizational needs. You will design and develop solutions to integrate applications between Cerner and federal client systems as well as create and document visual representations of systems and their inputs and outputs. This role will allow you to partner with Cerner and client delivery teams to implement integration solutions within defined project scope and collaborate with engineering teams, development teams, client end users, and other stakeholders as appropriate. In scope will be to troubleshoot and debug system issues to increase integration performance and quality of data as well as optimize maintenance and deployments to ensure integrated functioning.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • At least 8 years of system or solution integration work experience
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of system or solution integration work experience for the federal government information systems
  • Healthcare interoperability knowledge

Expectations:

  • Willing to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Additional Information

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
