As the Senior Marketing Event Partner you will create and implement plans and strategies to drive sales and constituent engagement through in-person events. You will design leading edge experience strategies that support client engagement and sales and create event strategy by examining business and communications priorities against target audience needs, preferences and trends across client segments and roles. You will identify and build multi-faceted messaging strategies, audience outreach plans, content and activities that elevate relationships, further collaboration and drive sales. You will be expected to manage large scale project plans, assign tasks and provide oversight (including financial oversight) to cross-functional planning committee and event coordinator activities across multiple events simultaneously.

As the Senior Marketing Event Partner you will provide onsite event leadership to business team and clients or constituents including strategy shifts, content changes, and overall client and constituent experiences and manage internal and external communication streams with business owners, constituents and partners. You will also determine best practices and recommend innovative approaches for client and constituent engagement and utilise event and client satisfaction reporting and analytics to provide strategy recommendations.

About Sales, Marketing & Strategy

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Management, Business, Communications, or related field or relevant equivalent work experience
  • At least 3 years of event management work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of event management work experience

Expectations
  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Melbourne or Sydney
  • Willing to travel up to 40% as needed
  • Must be willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
