Job Description

We are excited to announce a new executive opportunity as Senior Director, Product Management. As the leader of a service line, your primary responsibility will be to determine and execute the strategic direction, vision, and scope of capabilities for service line focused on cardiology and imaging. You will coordinate product strategy, oversee product financial performance and client results, coordinate road maps to ensure alignment, and prioritize development activities through qualitative and quantitative methods. You will support RFP responses and new programs along with business case development. You will work closely with Upstream and Downstream Marketing as well as sales on business development and messaging. You will act as the subject matter expert for the service line and develop a vision for the solution through client interaction, market research, interpretation of guidelines, and other methods. You will also be responsible for coordination across quarterly meetings and participate in quarterly portfolio reviews as well as actively participate in the development process and provide clinical insight and usability feedback. In this role you will lead, manage and develop a team and ensure there is clear communication and knowledge share within and across teams.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of healthcare strategy, operations and regulatory requirements, specifically in cardiology along with a deep understanding of healthcare organizations including integrated delivery networks, community hospitals, academic and children's hospital systems and governmental. You will be skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and analytical skills are paramount.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent work experience
  • 11+ years’ health care information technology experience
  • 12 + years' product design, product strategy, health care information technology consulting or other relevant product-related work experience
  • 8+ years' product management work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • Strong understanding of healthcare strategy, operations and regulatory requirements – especially cardiology
  • Deep understanding of healthcare organizations including integrated delivery networks, community hospitals, academic and children's hospital systems and governmental

Expectations
  • Ability to reside in the Kansas City metro area or currently lives in a virtually approved city
  • Ability to travel 10-15%, may be higher if virtual
